All That Flow
As Seasons do, so does my palette.
So by now, you’ve noticed that with every season, or maybe you’d say with every wind direction, my palette does indeed change. However, arriving late in my thirties came a confidence that’s rooted in prayer.
All That Flow is a reflection on the ebb’s and flow’s of life. This life. It’s the unity that connects us, that force that drives us, and the reflection of truth that’s lies within each of us. Beauty from ashes reflected in gold. This is one of the most deeply connected series yet to my heart.

Candace Rae is an abstract artist and creative instructor living and working outside of San Luis Obispo California. She graduated from Biola University with a degree Art and Photography and later pursed certificates in teaching and leadership. For several years, she taught art to an array of age based students from studio to studio, while maintaining an active studio practice and her own graphic design wine label business business on the side. In 2018, she decided to take the leap into full time professional painting. ‘Candace Rae Art’ is the culmination of many years of learning, teaching, and relearning how to paint.
Candace’s work is heavily influenced by the colors, textures, and prayers. Her work is created and released in ‘series,’ or as she calls it “seasons”.
When she isn’t painting, you can find Candace chasing or creating with her two incredible young boys, teaching a local spin class, hiking with her husband then later exploring one of the new wineries on the central coast.
